You know that any blog that does well in business is doing quite a number of things the right way. One thing also needs to happen and that is having the sticky nature to it. If you think it is necessarily the easiest thing to do, then talk to all those who cannot do it. Repeat traffic is valuable; that’s where you get to build trust with your target audience. Lacking the knowledge to produce those behaviors will cause problems, do you have to find out what is going on. Let’s take a few minutes and explore what is going on and what you should do.

If you want blog subscribers, then just be upfront about it as you inform and educate visitors as to why it is a good idea for them to do that. You can even approach it like email marketing in which you offer an ethical bribe. If you are building a list, then have a freebie for the list plus a different one for the subscription. People will not mind being on your RSS feed sub if they like what you do and offer for them. Give them something that is an honest and genuine solution to some problem, and it could be something that has the ability to stand on its own as a paid-for product. Make sure to continually build links to your website using a effective blog network as well. I mostly use Traffic Kaboom or Authority Link Network.

It is always a good rule of thumb to post new content every day if possible. If you’re going to post just once a week then there’s no reason why anyone would want to come back regularly. It is even a great idea to amass about twenty articles for the initial launch plus have about ten in reserve. You will need to set up your own system whereby you are never at a loss for topics. You also have to look at your overall plans, and if you want to build a network of blogs then you have to think about that, too.

It is smart to give readers different methods to sign up or subscribe to your RSS feed since some may not be sure. Put some nice words in the right places that encourage visitors to check out your RSS feeds. What you can also do is let them get your RSS via email delivery.

You can also run a weekly newsletter where you give them valuable information along with the updates. You can always test just about anything on your blog, and be willing to test out what will work the best. If you have a business blog, then you need to give your audience what they want most. So that is what you have to do, and we hammer it home only because it is so critical. Just commit to doing what you know is right and needs to be done, and then you will be on your way to bigger and better things. Avoid letting mistakes get the best of you because you will make them, but it is how you respond to them that matters.
